I’m a guy who works outside alot.

I’m beginning to want to protect my skin.

I’m planning on using Shea butter in the mornings both for protection and to moisturise after a shave. Had to switch from lanolin to olive oil as i couldn’t find a pesticide free version…

So now I’m thinking shea butter in the morning and add a little zinc oxide if I can’t wear a hat (i.e. surfing).

I wondered if there’s anything i missed, shea butter is only maybe spf 6ish.

Zinc oxide is the best solution if you are going to be out in full sun for a prolonged period of time. Good plan mixing the shea butter with zinc oxide, that should work. What does everyone else think?
