If these things are so terrible should they be banned? Are the genuinely harmful? Is there science behind the ‘its not good for you, avoid it?’ or is this more of a preference thing?

That is a great list. Many of these ingredients have been banned, but not in the United States. The European Union has very strong regulations on the skin care products industry. Why doesn’t the US?

Well anyone who knows what a multi-million dollar lobbying campaign can do to prevent laws that affect a corporation’s bottom line will understand why. The skin care lobby is way to powerful! :evil:

That’s why we have to keep ourselves informed.
